FAQs

Showcase is a platform developed by Thytus to allow teams to collaborate with any AI model seamlessly at the same time.

A Live Thought is a way to save and organize your files before starting a session. Each session has a Live Thought attached to it so you're able to create multiple sessions from one group of files. Examples: 1. A teacher or professor can create a Live Thought for a unit in the curriculum, and then use that Live Thought for each class session so they don't have to keep re-adding the files. 2. A project lead can have multiple meetings a day across multiple departments for a project. By creating one Live Thought for all sessions, the project lead can update the general files in the Live Thought in any session based on project changes and every team will be aware of those changes.

Session files (Live Thoughts) are designed to be persistent in the AI model's memory, allowing users to reference the contents of the file anytime in the chat. In contrast, files sent in messages are only temporarily available for the AI to reference during that specific interaction and are not retained in memory for future use. Session files can also be understood by all models. Hhowever, files sent in messages can only be understood by certain models.

Chat Context refers to the information and context that is processed in the session. This includes session actions (creating, updating, deleting, joining, leaving), user messages, system responses, and any relevant metadata that helps the AI understand the conversation history and provide more accurate responses.

File Context refers to the information and context that is processed when uploading files to the Live Thoughts and/or in sessions.

Tokens are deducted from the account of the user who started the session. If you are a guest or a member in a session, tokens will not be deducted from your account.

When you upload a file, the system needs to process the file to make its content accessible to the AI models. This processing requires tokens, and if your account is low on tokens at the time of upload, the file may not be fully processed. As a result, the AI models may not have access to the content of the file during your session. To ensure that files are properly processed and accessible, please make sure you have sufficient tokens in your account when uploading files. We recommend having a minimum of 10k tokens available. Please note that token usage may vary depending on the size and complexity of the file being uploaded.
